Students must maintain at least 85% attendance throughout the course to remain in good standing. Failure to maintain this attendance requirement may affect your academic progress or result in a review of your enrolment status..

5.2 Refund Policy

Our refund policy is designed to ensure clarity in case you need to withdraw from your course:

  • Before the course starts: You are eligible for a refund, minus the non-refundable £250 administrative fee.
  • After the course starts: Refunds are not available, except in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or unforeseen emergencies. The decision to grant a refund is at the discretion of the college.

6. Visa and Immigration Policies

6.1 International Students

Students coming to study at Oxford College of Science and Technology on a Short-Term Student Visa or Standard Visitor Visa must ensure they meet the relevant visa requirements set by the UK government. You are expected to comply with all immigration regulations during your studies.

6.2 Visa Requirements

  • Short-Term Study Visa: This visa allows you to study for up to 6 months, or 11 months for English language courses. You are not permitted to work while on this visa.
  • Standard Visitor Visa: If you are studying for up to 6 months, you can apply for this visa. You must return to your home country after the duration of the course, as extensions are not permitted.

7. Health and Safety

7.1 Student Safety

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. We have procedures in place to address any emergency situations, including first aid and evacuation protocols. You are required to familiarize yourself with these procedures upon arrival.

7.2 Health Insurance

It is recommended that all international students have comprehensive health insurance during their stay in the UK. The UK offers emergency medical treatment through the National Health Service (NHS), but additional coverage may be necessary for non-UK students.
